Anthony Sgro is the founder and managing partner of A.S. Advisory Corp. with over 20 years of professional experience as finance and accounting executive, supporting companies and investors both on the deal side and as a post transaction operator, implementing synergies and restructuring initiatives. He has held various senior consulting and corporate roles, both in the US and in Europe and has built a unique reputation for successfully executing on complex M&A transactions and consulting engagements, worldwide, meeting the high expectations of investors, senior management, boards, and regulators.

Current and past consulting engagements include the following clients: Wells Fargo Capital Finance, State Street Bank Corp., BNP Paribas, Gruppo Bancario Icrea (Rome, Italy), DebtX, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and the United Nations.

Prior to founding A.S. Advisory Corp., Anthony held senior management and consulting roles at KPMG LLP; Santander Holdings, USA; Electronic Data Systems Corporation (Hewlett Packard Corp.); and Permasteelisa Cladding USA (an Italian multinational in the steel manufacturing sector).

Anthony has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics & Finance from Bentley University and a Masters in Business Administration from Suffolk University, having also completed master level courses at Bocconi University, in Milan, Italy. He has served as an adjunct professor of corporate finance at Bentley University and has been quoted as an expert in financial and entrepreneurship topics in US and European radio programs, newspapers and magazines. He is an active member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the VC and Private Equity associations in Boston, New York City, and Miami.

Notable transactions and post transaction consulting engagements have included:

• Deal Advisor and Board member for the A.S. Roma Spa Soccer Club (acquired by a Boston PE group) where he provided due-diligence and negotiation support, which was instrumental for closing the 200M Euro deal on time and for securing additional financing.
• Valuation and modeling support for the Buffalo Wild Wings - $40M LBO of the Indianapolis Franchise (acquired by Granite Capital PE Group).
• While at Santander Holdings, USA, he led the negotiation, valuation and technical accounting support, allowing for the successful closing of the following deals: Route 66 and Stephens Ranch Wind $200MM Tax Equity Alternative Energy Deals; FNMA Multi Family Loan repurchase for $1.3B Deal; Norlease $300M Equipment Finance leasing portfolio acquisition; $1.5B of Lead/Joint Lead Arranger/Participant Syndications closings.
• While at Electronic Data Systems Corp. (acquired by Hewlett Packard Corp.), he was instrumental in providing accounting and valuation support, allowing for the successful closing the following deals (for a total of over 700M Euro), in Italy: Eni, Pirelli, Totocalcio, Nokia Italia, Deutsche Bank Italia, Banca Credem.
• Post due-diligence integration engagements include: Keane Consulting (acquired by NTT Data), Coley Pharmaceuticals - Germany (acquired by Pfizer Corp.).
